Triplett RWV10G Real World LAN and Cable Verifier - UTP & Coax, 10M to 10G Speed Testing

The Triplett RWV10G Real World LAN and Cable Verifier uses digital circuitry and digital testing techniques to verify cable and network performance with real data. It works with UTP and all Ethernet devices, running traditional TIA568 cable verification (length, opens, shorts, split pairs, wire map) plus its own crosstalk, timing and cable parameter tests that report a UTP cable's category (CAT3, CAT5, CAT5E, CAT6, CAT7) and speed capability (10M, 100M, 1G, 10G).

The RWV10G can use your own hubs, switches and PCs to test cables with live data. Single-sided tests show advertised speed and duplex; inline tests between two devices show the negotiated speed. Its engine resolves to 1 nanosecond. On coax it measures length and finds opens, shorts, wiremap and distance to faults, and both UTP and coax can be toned. Test results are stored in memory for later printing.
