The Ripley Tools WA 3 is a wrench adapter and strip-length extension for the WS 6 Cable End Stripper, giving crews added leverage and extended reach on 15-46kV XLPE, polyethylene, and EPR insulated cable. Installed on the back of the WS 6 stripping head, the WA 3 provides compatibility with the SW 2 Series ratchet wrench, delivering the extra torque needed for clean, controlled cuts on tough insulation and larger cable diameters.

In addition to ratchet wrench compatibility, the WA 3 extends the maximum stripping length of the WS 6 from the standard 2-7/16in (61.9mm) up to 5-3/4in (146.1mm), making it the right choice for terminations and splices that call for longer insulation removal. An adjustable stop bar on WA 3-equipped configurations provides accurate, repeatable preset stripping lengths, and the stop bar can be removed for infinite-length stripping when needed.

The WA 3 is a field-proven upgrade for utility linemen, cable jointers, and splicing contractors already running the WS 6 who need longer strip lengths or ratchet-driven operation without buying a complete new tool. It is the same adapter supplied on the factory-configured WS 6 with WA 3 stripper (SKU 12918). Made in the USA.
