Jonard FLS-55 Multimode & Singlemode Fiber Optic Light Source - 850/1300/1310/1550 nm

Jonard's FLS-55 is designed to provide 850/1300 nm or 1310/1550 nm wavelengths, making this optical light source the perfect tool for providing a stable light source for multimode or single-mode fiber measurements. The FLS-55 Light Source is designed for optimal use with Jonard's FPM-50A Optical Power Meter for measuring optical loss on both single-mode and multimode fiber cable. Note that the FC-LC adapter may have up to 0.3 dB of signal loss.

Includes 2 each of FC, SC and ST adapters plus an FC-LC adapter to directly connect to PC/UPC fiber connectors (FC-LC adapter for singlemode only)

Highly stable output power and wavelengths - holds within 0.05 dB over 15 minutes

Five modulation outputs (CW, 270 Hz, 330 Hz, 1 kHz, 2 kHz) at 850/1300 nm (multimode) and 1310/1550 nm (single mode) wavelengths

Typical -7 dBm output, adjustable from -5 to -12 dB

Automatic wavelength identification with the FPM-50A, FPM-55 and FPM-70 power meters

Flush button design makes it easy to use and prevents dust from entering the unit

Shatter-resistant sleeve protects the light source from falls or other damage

Backlit 2.4" LCD screen provides a clear display, ideal for dark places
