PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The weak point of other fusion splice-on connectors occurs when the shock absorber of the stop ring is sleeved by heat shrink after fusion splicing. Typically, suppose the ferrule fiber, primary fiber, and the ferrule take a load toward the primary fiber. In that case, the fiber can be bent, as shown in the diagrams below – possibly causing a disconnection of the fiber. To resolve this problem, the UCL Swift fiber optic splice-on connectors, such as the SC Splice-On Connector, use the ferrule to disperse this transformation and prevent fiber optic disconnect.

Features:

Factory-installed fiber stubs using high-quality fiber provide superior optical performance

Factory-polished and inspected ferrule end faces ensuring optimum fiber optic connectivity and easy terminations

Enhanced tensile strength for improved field terminations FOCIS compliant connector interfaces

Internal testing to verify performance and compliance with TIA-568-C.3

Ideal for use in FTTX networks, LAN, datacom, and telecom

applications, including point-to-point and passive optical networking

** Includes One Connector
