The Ripley Tools WS68 SNAP is a power-driven cable end stripper built on the proven WS68 platform, adding a patent-pending quick-connect front collar that lets technicians snap bushings in and out from the front of the tool — fast and positive, even with lineman's gloves on. Chuck it into any standard 3/8" drill and end-strip secondary distribution cable safely without a knife in the sequence, eliminating laceration risk from traditional knife stripping methods.

A knurled thumb screw with a high-visibility depth indicator sets strip length quickly and accurately from 0.625" to 2.5" (15.875 to 63.5 mm). The tool accepts Ripley cable bushings from #6 AWG through 750 MCM, covering concentric, compressed, and compacted conductors on 600V secondary distribution cable. Bushing swaps that previously required a tool or took two hands can now be completed in seconds with a simple push-and-twist motion at the front collar.
